Mushroom pies


Fry the onion in oil, then add the mushroom mixture. Cook for a few minutes, then add the tomato paste, Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper.

Roll out the dough and cut it into 4. Put grated cheddar cheese on each piece of dough, then put the filling and grated cheddar again.

Grease the edges of the dough with beaten yolk and fold the pate.

Grease the pies with yolk and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

    Recipe Low Carb

    When you go shopping without any idea why it should be bought, you wake up so suddenly with a box of half a kilo of fresh mushrooms. Bought not because you needed them but because they looked too good and too beautiful. And you get home and you look at them for a long time and they look at you, you still think that you made ciulama, you made cream soup & # 8230 so what else can you do with them? And you trot a little more on the net and you discover that you still have in the fridge some bad thin puff pastry that you handle only with tweezers and that's how you get to the wonderful mushroom pies.

    Ingredients collected from the refrigerator:

    & # 8211 500 grams fresh white mushrooms

    & # 8211 a few sprigs of green onion

    & # 8211 a tablespoon of olive oil

    & # 8211 some more puff pastry sheets (ready made so you can't make them at home)

    & # 8211 grated cheese enough to sprinkle over the pies

    & # 8211 an egg yolk for greased pies

    And it starts nicely with the chopped onions, both red and green, bell peppers and hardened in a tablespoon of oil. Cut into cubes or slice the mushrooms and put them to harden. I also added the current spices to make sure I didn't forget and I think you also put a delicate cube but I don't guarantee it. Here it is to everyone's taste. Cover with some water to boil the mushrooms well and leave the glue on the fire for a long time until all the water drops and until the mushrooms show signs that it has already been done. Although this composition is like a food-garnish, we firmly refrain from eating it because it is even more delicious wrapped in those translucent sheets of dough.

    When I considered that the mushroom is quite cooked (I think about 20-30 minutes had passed) I started working the dough thoroughly. I mean, there's not much to do, you just have to easily peel off the sheet, make sure it doesn't break and cut it into six squares with rather rectangular shapes (my unfortunate case). And now it's a trick. These sheets to be glued to each other must be greased with melted butter. So I make sure I melt the butter and start the painstaking process of creating a pate. Namely, take a sheet, grease it with butter, put it on top of another sheet, grease it again with butter and one more and you're done. Three are sufficient. Put a teaspoon of the wonderful mushroom composition and wrap it as your imagination allows. It is certain that some triangles must come out. The heads stick together, as if they had just been melted. Place it nicely in the pan and put it in the preheated oven at about 200 degrees for about 20-30 minutes, until it gets a yellow-brown color and which, of course, does not show signs of blackness.

    But somewhere in the middle of the process, or even towards the end, we take the tray nicely out of the oven and sprinkle over each pate, the grated cheese. And I put them in the oven until it seemed melted and completely spread over each pate. Well, it also fell apart, but it can be nibbled when it cools down.

    Carbohydrates are few because although they are floury, those floury ones are almost insignificant. Let's start with the composition: boiled mushrooms have 5 grams of carbohydrates per hundred grams, so 25 in total. Add 10 more onions and bell peppers and approximate 45. And 10 grams of puff pastry. So about 5-6 grams of carbs on each pate I say but I increase it to 15 because no one can resist one. So I don't have to say how delicious they could be. In fact, it shouldn't be that they're already gone!

    I don't know what other people are like, but I'm the kind of person who really likes to invite their friends to dinner. I love the atmosphere that forms in a full house, it gives me a feeling of joy every time. And I feel like I should give something back, and what better way than to prepare something for my friends? & # 128578

    I have the greatest satisfaction when friends come to me and one of them wants to order the pizza, moment in which I intervene and say & rdquo; There is no need for that, I made snacks! & rdquo.

    When it comes to party snacks, my recent favorites have been vegan pies with mushrooms. Apart from me, other friends of mine are following one vegan diet and I came to the conclusion that the best solution is to make some snacks that anyone can eat. And take my word for it, the moment you taste these pies, you will feel much better about your culinary choices!

    These mushroom pies are quick and easy to make and are very, very versatile. You can serve them either as appetizers at a table or as snacks at a party or anniversary. Being pastries, you can pack them to take with you when you travel, or when you are at the office!

    But let's talk a little bit about how they are made. If you have followed my recipes, you have certainly noticed that I like them very much mushrooms. I think mushrooms are among the best things you can find in nature and can be cooked quickly and with a very tasty result. Mushrooms are among the most used ingredients in vegan dishes, mainly due to the fact that they are rich in protein and have a texture similar to meat.

    If you ask me, it doesn't seem like you have to eat mushrooms just as a substitute for something else, but you may like them more because they are delicious and go great in many recipes. I should also mention that among my favorite mushrooms that fit in this recipe for pies are creams and shiitake, but if you like other mushrooms, such as portobello or pleurotus, you can use them without any problem! & # 128578

    And even though mushrooms are the "ldquostar" of this recipe, they are not the only ingredient in these tasty pastries. We also need to add something that will keep them together and give them a better taste. In this case, that something would be your favorite assortment of vegan cheese. Add it to the filling mixture after the mushrooms, garlic, onion (and spinach, in this case) were cooked a little in the pan.

    This creates a delicious mixture with which you can fill the dough with pies. I like garlic very much, it seems to me that it fits perfectly with sauteed mushrooms, and I will never hesitate to use it in recipes like this, because it always brings that extra irresistible aroma to something otherwise banal. Add it with confidence!
